All the participants and contestants for the Second World Ski Cup for Hairdressers arrived on the in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hairdressers from Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy and England arrived in the premises of RADIONICA where they were introduced with the programme for the upcoming event. Main guests of the event were BODI AKOS (Creative Director of TIGI) and HEATH M.GROUT – TIGI.



JANUARY 17
All the participants of the Second World Ski Cup went to the slopes of Bjelasnica where the organizers set up the ski track for the contestants. In the beginning the contestants had the chance to warm up with hot tea and wine and to try delicious bosnian pecialities as well. The ski track was very difficult, very abrupt and frozen, but the hairdressers really showed that except their knowledge of cutting hair they possess skills for skiing as well. Falling was inevitable, but all the contestants skied safely to the end of the ski track.

JANUARY 18
A professional seminar was held with Brodi Akos(Creative Director of TIGI) and Heath M. Grout as presenters. The great interest for the seminar contributed to its success and all the hairdressers left hoping to come to an unusual event like this again next year.

The Second Final Race will be held on the 06-07.2010 in Sljeme, Zagreb, Croatia. Then all the winners will be pronounced. The Major of the city of Zagreb will hand over the awards.

Due aule tecniche hanno presentato in pedana seminar di applicazioni tecniche dei prodotti degli espositori dell’acconciatura e un concorso di make up. Rilevante la presenza quest’anno di grandi marche come Matrix, Kadus e L’Oréal Professionnel che ha visto una grande affluenza nel suo stand grazie alla testimonial di INOA Monica Hoyos, famosa attrice nel bel paese iberico. La parte espositiva ha visto anche la presenza dei due grandi marchi della distribuzione di accessori professionali Oriol e Fama Fabré mentre anche quest’anno non si sono viste le case di produzione prodotti spagnole. Nel padiglione acconciatura, una grande pedana con circa 1000 posti a sedere ha coinvolto gli acconciatori in una kermesse continua di proposte moda degli stilisti più affermati in Spagna.

Some exhibitors had the opportunity to provide professional hair products for technical demonstrations during on stage seminars who took place in 2 different areas who guest a make up contest as well. In the hairstyle hall, a large platform with approximately 1000 seats, involved the hairdressers in a festival with hair proposals created by the most successful fashion designer in Spain.

Public Fund of promoting Cosmetology, Hairdressing and Esthetic NEVSKIE BEREGA was founded in 1996 by initiative group of leading cosmetologists and stylists from Northern Capital of Russia. In 2001 Dmitry Ershov, the owner of beauty salons chain in St Petersburg, has become the president of the Fund. The Fund was established as the organizing committee of the Independent Festival of Beauty NEVSKIE BEREGA that has united the International Specialized Exhibition of Cosmetics, Parfumery and Equipment for Beauty salons and the Championship on Hairdressing, Decorative Cosmetics and Nail-Design on the same area. At present the Event is held twice a year on February and September in Peterburgsky Sport and Concert Compex, St Petersburg, Russia. The brightness and showiness of the event provide good background for Russian and international contacts and professional experience exchange. The festival of beauty NEVSKIE BEREGA every year approves its strongest positions in development of professional competitive movement. More than 350 participating companies and 2017 contestants of the Olympic Competitions on Hairdressing, Nail-Design and Decorative Cosmetics, these are the record results of the Festival, held on February 2009. Lately successful activity of the Fund have been highly estimated by the Russian companies of the industry of beauty as well as by numerous foreign organizations. Ten years of success of the Beauty festival NEVSKIE BEREGA in the Russian second largest city is a serious application for the right to be the best. The Fund has recently prepared a new project in Moscow, Russia. Its name will be «MOSKOVSKIE BEREGA». The concept of the event as well as the area will be similar to the St Petersburg event. The Sport and Concert Complex Olympisky will host the Festival on March, 28-30 2010. We hope this project will have the same popularity in Russian Exhibition business.
